It occurred from a cross between the fragrant English Musk Rose (Rosa moschata) and the ever-blooming 'Old Blush' China Rose (R. chinensis). "Hollywood Pink Cluster" is a study name given to an unidentified Noisette Rose found in the historic Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. This old city cemetery contains a number of historic roses, including the famous Musk Rose found on the Crenshaw grave site.
