In reality, depending how the load changes as the battery voltage discharges, the operating temperature, the battery manufacturing tolerances etc., the actual life of the 12V lithium-ion battery will surely be less. The spec sheet states the nominal output current to be used is 350mA. We used a DC load set at 1 amp and this battery pack lasted 3 hours before reaching the low volts cutoff set at 8 volts. If you need higher discharge rates, consider using lead acid gel cells, NiMH batteries or the more exotic Lithium-Titanate types that outperform the more common Li-Ion 12V rechargeable battery. We have also found that despite what is stated in the datasheet, the charging finished green LED indicator light on the power supply does not always light, does not always indicate a full charge and may light even when not charged fully.
